Overview
Mossclip finds highlights in long recordings and turns them into vertical clips. Creators can choose editable captions or a finished visual look: Blackboard, Notebook or Collage. Captioned clips support transcript edits; styled looks are rendered into the video. Existing captioned clips can also be restyled.
Engineering
Mossclip turns spoken ideas into animated illustrations, headlines and full-screen visual scenes. Captions, drawings and scene changes follow the speech, with layouts that keep the speaker in view. It combines chalk and pen animation, moving cut-outs, stop-motion collage, animated numbers and sound effects, and exports finished vertical videos at 1080p.
Product
I own the product direction, visual style, engineering and beta rollout. I’ve recruited a small Discord community with active beta testers and built Discord-based onboarding and account access. The community gives me a direct way to support first use, collect clip feedback and test product decisions with people who have real recordings to work on.
